Job Description Summary
Will be responsible for managing Message Gateway and SWIFT applications. Conducts the performance management process, identifies training and development needs, and establishes performance standards for the division / unit / function. Participates in developing the strategic plan and manages the units expenses.
Job Details
- Implementation experience with in-house Java based messaging platforms and vended platforms and have knowledge on payment domain
- Recent experience with estimating and managing technology enablement projects and managing towards a budget.
- Minimum 7 years of people management experience, including contract workforce and full-time employees.
- Expert level analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative intellectually curious excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to break apart issues and come up to speed on new issues, attention to detail
- Must be able to work through ambiguous requests and shape into concrete needs and Jira/ADO elements.
- Familiar with latest trends in agile and devops, along with respective tools.
- Business acumen toward commercial outcomes.
- Process oriented to ensure proper governance is followed, and identify improvements where gaps exist.
- Transformation of on-prem solutions to cloud experience is required.
- Financial services industry background preferred
- Manages an applications unit or function. Establishes performance standards for the unit. Conducts the performance management process, identifies training and career development needs
- Determines staffing needs, makes hiring and firing decisions, handles salary administration, and ensures resources are available to accomplish priorities. Develops and manages diversity programs and programs for the unit
- Reviews, negotiates, and maintains vendor contracts and makes recommendations for
- Ensures compliance with all audit requirements including change control procedures and data security
- Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication
- Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
