As the India Head of Rewards, you will lead the Compensation team in promoting our Pay for Performance philosophy, connecting individual, business, and company results to employee compensation. You will report to the APAC Head of Rewards, supporting India senior leadership in delivering effective solutions and advising on all of BlackRocks compensation and benefits programs in the country. Key Responsibilities
- Develop a long-term vision for compensation and benefit programs in partnership with the global rewards team.
- Ensure alignment with regional needs, market competitiveness, and global business strategies.
- Drive engagement and education on BlackRock's reward and wellbeing programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and business impact of programs and processes.
- Partner with India leadership and HR team to align rewards with business and talent strategies, including diversity,
- equity,
- Partner with regional and business leaders to ensure market-leading rewards and wellbeing programs.
- Develop and deliver education materials and training on compensation and benefit programs.
- Lead a team, help employees grow, and drive project execution.
- Additional duties may include driving the development and implementation of other firm-wide and business-specific initiatives.
Knowledge/Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience leading a team of reward professionals within a multi-national company is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Compensation/Finance experience desired, preferably in financial services or consulting.
- Deferred compensation or retirement plan administration experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Self-starter work ethic and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and remain adaptable.
- Experience with HR Information Systems preferred (Workday, Oracle, etc.).
