What is the opportunity?
RBC's Global Equities business is looking for a front office Electronic Sales Trader to partner with the heads of the regional execution businesses, as well as the heads of the electronic businesses globally. The role will generate revenue and the incumbent will seek to build new and maintain existing sales trading relationships.
This is a leadership role in supporting the strategic agenda of APAC Electronic product in order to optimise product performance, operational effectiveness, infrastructure, client impact and the execution quality continuous focus on performance and Execution Quality of the Strategies.
What will you do?
- Day-to-day live coverage of clients trading Equities via the RBC electronic platform
- Manage senior client electronic relationships
- Applying experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments
- Run analytics on client trading patterns and look to improve performance
- Advises clients on strategies used and on tools available via the RBC algorithmic suite
- Reviews trade orders to ensure their accuracy, proper record keeping, and compliance with relevant regulations
- Ability to trouble-shoot on client orders, exchange connectivity and execution quality
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Proven Sales Trading Client coverage experience
- Experience with Electronic trading, Execution management and Electronic trading technology
- Strong analytical background
- Strong grasp of financial markets
- Commercial understanding and mindset
- Existing understanding of the equity trading process
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, with advanced-level Excel skills
