How youll spend your time..

  • Strategic Planning and Execution Assist the Global Head of Data in developing and implementing strategic plans. Monitor progress against strategic objectives and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Operational Efficiency Oversee operational aspects of the Data Department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Project Management and Coordination Coordinate and oversee key projects and initiatives within the department, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication Act as a liaison between the Data Department and other departments, executive leadership, and external partners. Ensure clear communication and alignment on data-related initiatives.
  • Leadership and Team Development Assist in leading the department, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Mentor and develop emerging leaders within the team.
  • Policy and Procedure Development Collaborate with department leaders to develop, implement, and refine policies and procedures that support the data governance framework and data management practices.
  • Budget and Resource Management Assist with budget preparation and management. Ensure optimal allocation of resources for projects and operational needs.
  • Meeting and Event Coordination Organize and facilitate departmental meetings, retreats, and other events. Ensure that key outcomes and action items are documented and followed up on.

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Ability to influence change and outcomes with senior leaders outside reporting lines/department.
  • Experience with maintaining internal client relationships to drive, through collaboration, business and data driven outcomes towards increased flow and reduced costs in the operating model.
  • Leader who began career in technical role and migrated to business/data leadership position.
  • Experience with enterprise information strategy development, concepts, and execution responsibilities
