The Global Digital Marketing Team is a fast-growing global function at BlackRock which seeks to engage a multi-trillion dollar audience of investors, advisors and institutions with our diverse range of investment products. Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and creative professional to join our marketing team. You will primarily drive digital marketing strategy and programs in accordance with business priorities. You will work closely with the local marketing team to help drive institutional, wealth and ETF marketing efforts, and at the same time coordinate with the regional digital marketing team with the aim of building common programs and initiatives. In addition, you will be supporting to drive content-rich marketing programs for a variety of investment products and solutions.
Key responsibilities
We are looking for a
Japan
Digital Marketer
- Drive our digital marketing plans, covering campaign concept development and execution
- Conduct regular monitoring of digital health metrics, understand trends and key performance drivers, and uncover actionable insights
- Run ongoing optimizations to test, learn and improve our site health of Japan website to deliver against our digital plans
- Manage and prioritize a pipeline of digital initiatives originating from across the business and own communication with relevant stakeholders
- Manage the implementation of new digital products and experiences on time and budget, ensuring that they achieve intended end-user experiences and business objectives
- Explore new digital opportunities to target our clients in Japan, primarily social media
- Create and manage the execution of journey based, multi-channel campaign experiences
- Collaborate closely with business partners, marketing leads, corporate communications, visual designers, developers, and digital agencies as well as cross-regional counterparts
- Measurement is the key rooting your work in insights and tracking toward KPIs using a variety of data sources (web analytics, client research, sales feedback)
Reporting line
You will report to the Head of Marketing in Japan. You will also work within a digital marketing matrix structure.

Experience must encompass
- 8-10 years' experience in a digital marketing role
- Online business experience and knowledge of creative web design, site functionality, usability and/or marketing experience
- SEO expertise,
- The position requires an understanding of functional and technical SEO to ensure we are always maximizing our SEO efforts. This includes understanding how to design a page properly in accordance with SEO tactics keywords, headings, multimedia, layout, etc.
- SNS management experience, including development and launch of new platforms
- Experience with analytics platforms a must
- Ability to work in a high-energy, dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to interface directly with internal clients
- Native Japanese level with English proficiency
- Experience with Oracle Eloqua preferred
- Familiarity with agile development approaches preferred
- Knowledge in HTML coding preferred
