Who we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to join the Enterprise Architecture team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting and designing our organizations DevOps and SDLC processes and deployment strategies that are measurable and auditable. The candidate will play a crucial role in automating and streamlining our operations and processes, researching, and recommending tools for building, deployment, monitoring, and operations. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the development and integration of new software engineering technologies and practices, driving the continuous improvement of our development and operations environments.

What you will be responsible for

Architect and Design infrastructure for delivering and running software services.

Design measurable and auditable automated processes for software development teams, enabling them to build, deploy, test, and release their code efficiently and reliably.

Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for a range of projects to ensure a seamless development cycle across multiple technologies.

Collaborate with software developers, development managers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases and deployments.

Lead initiatives to integrate software quality assurance and cybersecurity measures into the development and deployment processes.

Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in DevOps, cloud architecture, and software development.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

+ years experience as a DevOps Architect, or similar role, in a complex development environment.

Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).

Expertise in software development methodologies and release management.

In-depth knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
