Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Science Associate Manager.
In this role, you will
- Supervise entry-to-mid level individual contributors in roles with low complexity tasks and risks on a range of analytical and predictive modeling data science initiatives that drive and influence objectives and products in addition to improve business performance.
- Engage with mid-level management, stakeholders and internal partners associated with low complexity data driven insights, patterns, and recommendations made by the data science team.
- Make day-to-day tactical decisions and resolve issues under the direction of senior management to meet business objectives, leveraging interpretation of policies and procedures for functions within scope of responsibility.
- Identify low complexity opportunities to use data science with a focus on actionable insights which includes leading hypothesis generation around low complex business problems.
- Manage and prioritize low complexity projects and maintain necessary processes, controls, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Implement strategies for developing and utilizing advanced analytic data science resources to recommend business solutions and initiatives.
- Present actionable insights and recommendations using data provided by the team in a digestible format to a non-technical audience of varying levels.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources.
- Be responsible for selection, evaluation, and development of staff.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Masters degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science.
- Experience in data science, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications
- 11+ years of overall experience in data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education.
