The Data & Process Solutions team within SSGA Investment Operations is seeking a highly motivated, innovative process improvement professional to serve as a Vice President of Data & Process.This role will collaborate with partners across the firm to drive operations strategy and lead execution of our data and process improvement initiatives. The individual will be responsible for managing our communications strategy and leading innovation across other areas of the firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives across the firm through process discovery and collaboration
- Provide input to the Future of Operations strategy and organizational design
- Communicate with partners to ensure key parties are aware of status, issues and changes
- Advocate for and win management, stakeholder and partner buy-in on the value of our initiatives
- Develop a framework to measure the success and return on investment for the team's initiatives
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
- Identify and further develop talented analysts to ensure we have a deep pipeline of qualified and diverse candidates
- Actively stay current on industry trends and technologies that may impact our Process Solutions function
- Develop and maintain a strong network within the firm and industry in order to stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies
Additional Requirements
- Strong understanding of Data Management, Investment Operations and Process Improvement
- Prior experience as a strategic leader Operations
- Ability to understand processes, data, control frameworks and the application of technology
- Strong leadership and organizational awareness with ability to facilitate and resolve conflicts
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Prior business operations role with data focus
- Experienced in managing/monitoring low-code platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Project Management or Process Improvement Credentials (e.g. PMP, Design Thinking, Lean)
- Data Management experience or credentials
- Experience with Agile Development
- Knowledge of low code applications such as Appian, Operin, Unqork
- Knowledge of Data Management applications such as Informatica, Collibra
- Capabilities with Tableau and/or Alteryx
