Role Description
The Insight Data Service (IDS) team provides world-class expertise in the collection and validation of investment data for investors in alternative assets. IDS streamlines the exchange of data between limited and general partners, allowing investors the continuous access to accurate and standardized data. Insight Data Service is a part of Aladdin Business.
The Aladdin Business is comprised of 1,200+ professionals responsible for implementing and supporting our Aladdin clients, sales, and marketing, and ensuring the Aladdin Community maximizes Aladdin products through engagement and education. We are looking for Process Driven Data Analysts with a financial background to work within a data governance team validating and reviewing financial information submitted to a large provider of risk finance in Luxembourg.
Our client improves lending capacity of financial intermediaries and stimulates bank lending to small and medium sized enterprises by providing guarantees that encourage financial intermediaries to increase lending volumes. Financial intermediaries are institutions specializing in financial transactions such as banks, insurance companies, investment banks, pension, and mutual funds.
The role will require the selected candidates to process and validate periodic reports from financial intermediaries. The candidate would, among other tasks, review warnings created around data submitted via Excel templates, investigate the warnings, and escalate these as required. The role includes daily communication with financial intermediaries and the Client to obtain reports and information for a successful review and inclusion of data in the Client's database.
Key responsibilities
Responsibility for driving and delivering client experience and needs, through daily interactions.
Participate enthusiastically in the continuous improvement of our control environment, policies, and procedures, including writing and updating team policies, procedures, and presentations as necessary.
Obtain and review quarterly inclusion reports.
Validation of quarterly inclusion data in the Client's in-house system.
Perform checks on quarterly inclusion data, based on predefined business rules. Check compliance of data and reports with contractual terms and quality of the data supplied.
Daily communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely validation with all business rules respected.
Troubleshoot and support Financial Intermediaries.
Perform data input activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or equivalent combination of education with 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
Customer and data focused with strong customer service and data management experience and a passion for service perfection.
Comfortable liaising with clients and internal stakeholder at all levels.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Any additional languages, such as French, Spanish and Italian are an advantage.
Ambitious, proactive problem solver, positive, can-do' attitude, and willingness to stretch and grow outside the comfort zone.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to prioritize and deliver tasks as promised while maintaining high quality and consistent results.
Strong planning and organizational skills, operating and controlling own priorities to meet deadlines.
Reliable and trusted teammate with strong integrity and ethics. Driven to be a productive part of a high functioning, collaborative team, and to work in a high expectation and high impact environment.
Proficient with Excel and other MS Office application, and ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
