The team member will partner with a team of professionals (employees, contractors and statement of work resources across the Enterprise) to support the Enterprise Reference data application road map in the following waysAbout the Role

Work with partners to help identify new business and technical requirements for the Reference Data application and create requirements for additional system functionality Grow Reference Data application footprint within the Enterprise Data Environment Facilitate meetings for the Reference Data Management platform Update and build Business As Usual (BAU) processes per risk and regulatory requirements Raise issues to management's attention with possible solutions Perform deep dive analysis on data anomalies to determine the root cause through creating SQL queries in various database environments Develop and perform test plan to support system deployment activities to ensure partners' requirements are met Establish relationships and support the communication across the business teams, technical partners, and upstream/downstream partners Support business partner Reference data reporting needs Build and maintain business glossary for the various physical data elements for tables/views Create and maintain data quality rules on the elements as per the organization policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • The team member will be a member of a team of data management analyst that drive builds of the Enterprise Reference Data Application
  • Partner with business teams to work on new data requirements and perform data research on available vendors/suppliers of the data in the open market
  • This individual will be responsible for working with internal Data Management Insights (DMI) and external business partners to complete the vision of Reference Data Management application supporting non-discretionary risk and regulatory work
  • This work will require extensive business knowledge of Reference data across the Enterprise coupled with strong data analytic skills
  • This individual will support the design and testing of the business requirements within an Agile framework
  • This role will interact with partners, senior management, regulatory reporting partners, and Wells Fargo Technology

Essential Qualifications

  • Overall experience of 5+ years in data management area
  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following data governance, data quality or data analysis demonstrated through
  • 2+ years of relationship management experience with business and technology partners
  • 2+ year of experience gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders
  • 2+ years of experience in building and maintaining business glossary or data dictionary
  • 2+ years of experience of data quality rule implementation and validation
  • 2+ years of experience in data testing, including writing manual and automated test scripts.
  • 2+ years of experience doing in-depth root cause analysis to identify and solve problems with Enterprise Master & Reference data, including Customer/Party data.
  • 2+ years of experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
  • 2+ year of hands-on Agile experience, including writing User Stories
  • 2+ year of JIRA experience, Agile tool

Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Exposure to tools like Collibra or any other metadata management tools
  • Exposure to Enterprise Meta Data Hub
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
  • 4+ year of writing SQL experience
  • 4+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata, Hadoop
  • Working Knowledge of Informatica Address Doctor
  • Working Knowledge of Informatica MDM or equivalent
  • Strong Data Quality and Data Profiling leveraging any of the following tools SQL Developer, Teradata, MS SQL, Oracle
  • Strong Understanding of Wells Fargo's Customer Systems/Data environments (Wholesale, Consumer, Wealth Management)
  • Ability to create complex SQL queries
  • 2+ years of knowledge of Master Data Management
  • Strong collaboration, partnering and consulting skills
