Major Duties
- Provide direction and strategy for enterprise-wide initiatives. This position is focused on large scale initiatives with a high degree of complexity that impacts all portions of the business. The Portfolio Accounting and Data Services Impact Zone (PADS) is one such complex initiative, with multiple related components. This role will help co-ordinate across multiple work streams within the Impact Zone to ensure that the overall program goals are met, understanding key dependencies and impacts and manage them to a conclusion.
- This job holder will also play a key role in providing a link across impact zones. Ensuring that the needs of PADS is understood by the other impact zone and visa versa. Looking across multiple related initiatives to understand the big picture and link them together in a holistic roadmap.
- This role will also play a key role in providing a link to enterprise-wide capabilities and utilities to ensure that any requirements to support the impact zone are met. This includes but is not limited to SQM, Data Mesh, DWS, Procurement, IT etc.
- Management of Cross Impact Zone issue and risks, which may be complex, involve multiple disciplines or be ambiguous in nature.
- Drive the creation of status reporting which accurately reflects progress, issues and status across the entire Impact Zone.
- Responsible for management and tracking of migration activities across the major EPICs, understanding key dependencies to utilize new capability and move activity from legacy systems to the future state. Tracking through to completion, removing roadblocks where necessary.
- Responsible for coordinating and managing overall change management activities outside of CVR (and coordinating with the CVR change manager) with regard to business process change, organizational design and training.
- Responsible for building out material to support communication on Impact Zone Activities.
- Help support resource planning across the Impact Zone.
- Ensure that we track benefit realization as we delivery new capability to Production and migrate activities to it.
- Help create and manage the intake process for legacy systems related to PADS so that we can direct effort to our new capabilities and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise. This knowledge should extend to Transaction Lifecycle across a broad range of asset classes, IBOR/ABOR and the associated reporting requirements. A familiarity with NT's existing eco-system supporting this would be highly beneficial. (FM, GFA, GMR, GDL, MR)
- This individual will display a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity. They will be a seasoned leader with extensive business experience, and broad functional expertise, with focus on proactive strategic leadership.
- Should have a strong history of managing Large Complex Transformation activities, be fully familiar with Agile, Change Management and Transformation Practices. They should have a strong history of delivering change successfully at scale.
- They should be an exemplary communicator, able to communicate clearly across a wide range of audiences. They should have strong collaboration skills and have a history of building strong relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
- This individual should be highly flexible and adaptable to change, willing to embrace change and new ideas and approaches. As such they should have excellent technical skills.
- Knowledge of business strategy development is necessary to provide long term planning and to manage the
- profitability/performance
- A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is required / preferred.
