Who we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated individual to serve as Consultant Relations, Vice President within the sales and client management team. If selected, you will initiate, own, and develop consultant relationships with Tier One consultants in the Americas. As a key member of the Consultant Relations team, the ideal candidate should be able to engage partners, principals and other senior-level employees from key consultancies regarding State Street products and, leveraging exceptional interpersonal skills, foster and develop those relationships including through various sales cycles. The Consultant Relations, Vice President will report directly into the U.S.-based Global Head of Consultant Relations, within Global Client Coverage.

As Consultant Relations, Vice President, this role will drive strategic relationships with outside consultants that act on behalf of their clients with service providers, including during sales processes. In this capacity, the VP will actively identify key stakeholders at various levels in the consulting organizations, proactively engage with those counterparts, educate on State Street offerings and capabilities, and obtain line of sight into trends and upcoming opportunities. As an important sales channel for State Street, it is key that consultants are up to speed with our services and solutions, and the impact that those products are having across the various financial services segments.

Primary Responsibilities
As Consultant Relations, Vice President, you would
Learn the key consultants in the relevant segment and market, and their clients, including conducting data analysis and capturing metrics to capitalize on past successes and address potential gaps
Improve and deepen State Street's various consultant relationships in this constituency, including creating proactive direct engagement, organized events, and consultant education opportunities
Partner with sales and client service teams to facilitate their strategic and successful engagement with consultants and clients and
Maintain a deep understanding of State Street's values, services, and key offerings to play an integral role in facilitating consultants' understanding of and interaction with the Firm.

Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required. Masters degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry expected.
- 5-7 years of relationship management experience preferred.
- Travel up to 30% may be required
