Strategic Retirement Consulting's Participant Engagement Consulting team
is looking for a
Communication Consultant
. The role will provide opportunities to
- Consult with, motivate, and influence clients to drive positive outcomes by using data and thought leadership to identify key opportunities while demonstrating a deep knowledge of the Participant Experience, Vanguard solutions, and the plan sponsor's unique needs.
- Develop strategies that balance the needs of the client, participant, and business and oversee the implementation and measurement of the strategies.
- Present the Strategic Retirement Consulting value story to Vanguard clients and sales prospects.
The ideal candidate will have
- A passion for working with external clients (including retirement plan sponsors, consultants, and vendors) and excellent relationship management skills.
- An ability to interpret data, and to define and measure results.
- Be a strategic thinker who can problem solve while handling multiple priorities through strong judgement and time management skills.
- Be consultative and influential with plan sponsors and internal stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
In this role, you will
- Provide consultation to address business areas external client communication needs. Develop cohesive plans for communicating initiatives and events that are aligned to business outcomes. Assess and maximize impact on target external client audience.
- Partner with business area to ensure needs are addressed, various solutions are identified, and delivery of expectations is within scope and capacity.
- Determine cost effective means to execute key external client communication deliverables. Create content that is clear, engaging, and concise. Collect key metrics and measure the effectiveness of external client communication solutions. Identify trends for future application.
- Apply Vanguards style, usage, and brand standards to ensure consistency.
- Identify areas for improvement to enhance the effectiveness of communications and its ability to execute on business objectives.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years related work experience.

- Strong consultative skills with a proven ability to influence and persuade
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
