Summary

The Commercial Post Close Associate II will ensure loan files are completed accurately and tracked for the life of the loan. This role will work with other commercial loan team members to create proper dialogue and accurate loan documentation while balancing service, quality, compliance, and relationship building.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with commercial loan team members.
  • Track and follow up on the receipt of original legal documentation.
  • Maintain insurance on loan files.
  • Track UCCs, Paid Tax Returns, and other collateral-related items.
  • Release paid files in a timely fashion.
  • Complete QA for payments, advances, and rate changes on loans.
  • Upload documentation to the imaging system.
  • Complete loan review on new and modified loans to ensure the receipt of required documents to close and accurate entry into the loan system.
  • Maintain customer confidence by keeping client information confidential.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate knowledge of industry regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, Truth-in-Lending laws, etc.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organizational skills and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years experience of commercial operations experience preferred.

Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel.
