As a Client Tax Analyst of JPMC's Corporate and Investment, Private Bank, and Commercial Bank clients, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the bank's compliance with U.S Tax regulations, optimizing withholding strategies, and delivering accurate tax withholding & reporting of client's year-end tax statements to be remitted and submitted to U.S IRS and to the bank clients, respectively. Job responsibilities
- perform in-depth audits of cost basis transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cost Basis Auditing
- Conduct reconciliations of clients' transactions to identify discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.
- Reconciliation
- Knowledge of US Tax Reporting specifically 1099 1099-B 1042S is a plus.
- US Tax Reporting & Withholding
- Clean and preprocess data to eliminate errors. Inconsistencies and inaccuracies. Process and manipulate data to make it usable and relevant for analysis and reporting.
- Data Cleansing & Transformation
- Maintain documentation of audit findings, procedures, and recommendations for improvement.
- Documentation
- Identify Opportunities for process automation and work on streamlining and improving existing processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in global shared service industry
- Understanding of US tax reporting with hands on experience is an advantage
- Proficiency in data analysis, data reconciliation and process automation
- Experience with artificial intelligence tool i.e. Alteryx, XCeptor, Tableau is an advantage
- Advanced actual experience in MS Excel is a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify discrepancies and execute solutions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues
