The primary responsibilities of the
Client Relationship Associate
Responsibilities
- Provide support and back-up coverage for Financial Consultants, including client servicing and meeting preparation.
- Assist in preparation, with the Financial Consultant, in pre-appointment and post-appointment financial planning
- Monitor trends impacting client happiness within your assigned book of business, including competitive, industry, and marketplace data.
- Develop a response plan to maintain or improve client happiness.
- Initiate needs-based discussions and meet with clients to provide dedicated financial planning consultations while uncovering opportunities to gather additional assets.
- Uncover client needs and opportunities by dedicatedly developing a deeper understanding of client goals.
- Ensure client's understanding and knowledge of American Century products, policies and procedures.
- Drive successful execution of solutions and keep projects and initiatives on track.
- Stay informed of critical operational issues that impact the client.
- Activity seek referral opportunities.
- Place client orders on various types of investment trades accurately and timely.
- Utilize internal resources and systems to collect client data to advance future sales opportunities.
- Perform research to identify, analyze and solve problems investigate and remedy reported account issues.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of industry knowledge and financial sales and service experience, with Financial Planning experience preferred.
- Dedicated, inventive and client focused approach.
- Shown ability to successfully maintain relationships with high net worth clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation and consultative selling skills (phone and face-to-face).
- Adaptable to evolving needs of client, systems and internal business model.
- Exhibits ability to compare, contrast, and communicate American Century product offerings with competitor products.
- Strong multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Series 7 license required, with Series 65 license preferred or successful completion within 90 days.
- Advanced certifications, e.g., CFP, preferred.
