Wells Fargo is seeking a Digital Product Management Director to lead the Tools, Platforms, and Enablers Lending Ecosystem & integration team.
This Director position will report to the Commercial Bank Lending Tools, Platforms, and Enablers Product Management Executive
Responsibilities include
- Creating a vision and strategy to deliver the industry's best lending experience that powers Wells Fargo's clients' success across CB, CIB, WIM, and SBB.
- Managing a team of product managers/owners, data analysts, subject matter experts, application business owners to design and develop data integration, data quality and data conversion tools for a lending ecosystem that includes originations, underwriting, document generation, loan accounting and loan servicing based on modern architecture.
- Managing products' budget, business cases, resource allocation, and team alignment.
- Delivering and managing business objectives and key results.
- Partnering with CB & CIB business leaders,product teams, change management, chief data office, risk, controls, compliance, and technology partners.
- Managing data migrations from legacy loan originations and accounting platforms to target state.
- Delivering efficient and scalable solutions that improve user experience and simplify processes.
- Enhancing portfolio controls to minimize risks and developing solutions that satisfy regulatory requirements.
- Improving teams' ways of working and deliver portfolio telemetry.
- Creating a client first, user centric, value driven and results oriented culture.
- Navigating contentious topics and driving the transformation agenda.
- Mentoring and coaching top talent, rising stars and employees who are willing to invest in themselves.
- Providing weekly, monthly updates and periodic materials.
- Role requires entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with competing priorities.
- Role requires experience in leading large transformations in banking, Agile Development, and commercial loans and lines' data.
Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading large scale digital initiatives and transformations.
- Outstanding analytical skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to coach and grow a team of high caliber digital professionals.
- Utilize strong influence, negotiation, and communication skills with business and technical partners as well as executive stakeholders to establish/maintain achievable schedules and scope. Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from current state to proposed solutions, including driving successful execution.
- Ability to support and promote an environment of team member engagement and diversity where everyone feels included, valued, and supported to do the work that energizes and inspires them to go farther together and achieve success.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise investment optimization and program governance practices at Wells Fargo are strongly desired.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following data management, systems implementation and integration, or strategic planning
- 8+ years of digital product management experience in a planning environment
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only
- Digital product management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
- Management experience
Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years of financial services industry experience, either directly within or closely associated with loan booking/accounting/servicing processes
- 5+ years of working on large-scale initiatives, coordinating across multiple lines of business and technology organizations, preferably with experience in initiatives involving complex data conversions.
- Strong understanding and experience of process re-engineering
- Results-focused leader with an ability to inspire and instill a strong culture of accountability and excellence across teams and throughout the business.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior management and ability to articulate key messages around risk, issues, customer impacts, etc.
- Experience with Agile execution structures
- Bachelor's degree in related field MBA preferred
