What Youll Do

We're looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Principal Asset Management team. In this role, you'll make key data & metrics easily consumable for data-driven decision-making. Gather, format, and present data and business context to create meaningful numeric and graphical summaries. Function as a data domain expert, establishing data standards & requirements with data engineers. You will

  • Build & maintain data aggregation processes and dashboards, creating interactive and compelling visual, numeric, and written summaries.
  • Train & coach business users on BI tools.
  • Promote data literacy and a self-serve culture across the enterprise.
  • Analyze business intelligence data to inform business decisions.
  • Blend historical data from available industry reports, public information, client interactions or purchased sources as input to analyses.
  • Partner with other areas of the business (e.g., Distribution, Marketing, IT, Product, Strategy, etc.) to model the outcome of implementing potential business strategies.

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelors Degree (preferred) or Associates degree (required) knowledge of analytics, consulting and project management practices or equivalent experience.
  • You have experience working with BI tools such as SQL, PowerBI, Salesforce etc...
  • You are curious and enjoy helping enable business through data solutions.

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
