Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant

In this role, you will

  • is part of CIB COO Information Security Risk Program. This program primarily supports access governance, certification of High risk in-house WF assets and Third-party vendor hosted applications pertaining to internal employees and external business partners. Key focus of the program is to enforce effective access management, conduct periodic application access reviews, and provide reporting on user's access for all CIB lines of businesses.

  • The role requires a strong demonstration of technical, functional, and job-specific knowledge. Accurately process high volumes of work, within established deadlines. Examines and delivers as per the required quality, following the laid down procedures. Constructively challenge the usual approach of doing things and find new and better ways to do the job.
  • Duties and Responsibilities
  • Examine data extracts of end-user's high-risk applications, the processes consist of identifying toxic application combinations, reviewing organizational outliers for consistency, reviewing end-user access against their role-based profiles, challenge access entitlement, develop review rules and create a procedural review process
  • Prepare Automated Certification and Monitoring of Entitlements (ACME) certification and Manual Certification for Non-ACME Apps by gathering lists of user access for in-scope applications. Manage the certification and send reminders to all certifiers at pre-defined times throughout the certification and share the results with desired apps team
  • Review user requests for Third Party FX apps as well as Commodities pipeline assets and facilitate the Provisioning and De-provisioning requests. Notify the appropriate user upon completion of access request
  • Perform quarterly Swaps Execution (SEF) review and validate that user access assignments for FX applications are correct by coordinating with the contacts for each FX app to obtain the list of users with SEF access
  • Manage monthly basis report of all the users in Hong Kong and Singapore that have access to FX Application by updating a running list of access through comparing the previous report's entries against the latest SIMBA requests received for the current month
  • L drive File Share user access certification review by gathering AIMS report containing the in-scope file shares and certifiers send individual notifications to the file share owners and will prepare a workbook for each owner to certify which is placed on a SharePoint online.
  • Technology Owner Review for tech-based user entitlements identify anomalies and share final review results with Application Tech owners
  • Ensure end-to-end review process steps are followed through. Identify and deliver IDEA (Innovate Design Execute Achieve) projects
  • Identified deficiencies should be logged and follow strict escalations matrix to Application Business Owners, Technology owners, user managers, onshore team
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our functional areas
  • Proactively identify, communicate, mitigate and escalate risk originating from non-compliance of processes, operational errors, and data integrity issues in all applicable processes
  • Required Qualifications
  • University Degree in Business or related discipline
  • 6 to 8 years of experience on access management, controls, and audits
  • Proficient in reporting and presentation skills
  • Strong in Access Management Concepts
  • Strong Analytical skills Advanced Excel, VBA, SQL, Power-BI/Tableau and Excel Power Query
  • Knowledge and a broad background in Corporate Investment and Investment Banking
  • Good understanding of Operational Risk and Process Risk and Controls
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint
  • Able to multi-task to accomplish tasks effectively
