About the Role

THE POSITION

The Investment Strategy team is responsible for multi-factor, multi-manager, multi-asset and custom solutions. The team provides bespoke research and advice across various topics such as fundamental factors,asset allocation, thematic investing and manager research and manages various outcome oriented, factor, and thematic portfolios on behalf of clients.

We are seeking to recruit an Analyst to work with our Fundamental Factor Team within Investment Strategy. The individual will be focused on helping the team conduct research for their proprietary equity factor platform and managing a suite of factor portfolios. They will also contribute to the team's manager research, strategic solutions proposals, and client analytics capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

A successful candidate will have

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, during which they have gained strong understanding of investment management, risk management and portfolio construction concepts with a specific focus on equities, as well as familiarity with risk management and portfolio construction techniques using common industry tools such as Barra, Axioma, etc.
  • Interest in factors and their role in driving the performance of fundamental investment strategies
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for rigorous research, markets and the intersection of technology and investing
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for working with technology
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-faceted, fast paced environment with multiple competing deadlines
  • Work independently as well as part of a highly collaborative team where respectful debate is encouraged to best deliver client outcomes
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, versatility and creative problem solving
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong academic credentials

In addition the following would be a plus

  • Programming skills and experience with business intelligence tools and data architecture.
  • Completion of CFA
