The Human Resources (HR) Programs and Services team owns the operations for Prudential's global total rewards programs, payroll, tax, accounting, and talent acquisition. It also provides data management, application management and shared services operational support for HR.

A unique opportunity exists within the team to be an Employee Benefits Data Lead on the HR Application & Data Management team.

This role will act as a product lead and have operational accountability for selected global HR applications associated with the following process benefits. Accountabilities include (1) managing downstream employee data and connections with many third-party vendors (2) partnering with the Employee Benefits Strategy team on project or new vendor implementations (3) regular audits of data between source and vendor systems and (4) ongoing change request management and testing.

What you can expect

  • Data lead for all employee benefit programs. In this capacity, you will be responsible for overall data quality, partnering with stakeholders for delivery assurance, annual event support and issue resolution.
  • Accountability for system administration within Employee Benefits applications.
  • Assist business analysis efforts for multiple projects and implementations of variant complexity, requiring SME expertise on the technology and HR process
    • Collect and document business requirements analyze impacts and interdependencies partner with technology teams to translate business needs into system designs provide quality review of functional specifications and coordinate/execute user acceptance testing.
  • Ongoing and ad hoc reporting to support critical initiatives, such as M&A.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in business or data analysis, including gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Familiarity with HR process management.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

It'd be a plus if you had

  • Experience in a benefits admin or benefits data role.
  • Experience in a role where multiple third-party administrators are stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills.
  • Functional or technical understanding of data integrations.
