DISCOVER your opportunity
The ESG Analyst Intern will report to the Head of ESG and Sustainability and will work in collaboration with other teams at Prime to support the ongoing implementation of Prime's ESG Strategy.
Your role and responsibilities will include
- Supporting ESG team and investment teams during the ESG due diligence of external asset managers and portfolios, including review and analysis of proprietary ESG assessment questionnaires, and ensuring ongoing implementation of the ESG due diligence process with all investment teams (Private Equity, Infrastructures, Private debt, NAV Financing, GP stakes and Hedge Funds)
- Carry out research tasks and benchmarking exercises for the ESG Team on ESG investment practices specific to private markets in the fund-of-fund business
- Support the Secretariat for Primes ESG internal governance, including preparation of internal presentations and written materials
- Contribute to ongoing climate-related projects, including research tasks, and carbon footprinting of investment portfolios
- Day-to-day support to the ESG Team on priority projects to support the ongoing implementation of the AXA IM Prime ESG Strategy, including engagement with external asset managers

Profile
Education/Qualifications
- Currently undertaking a Master's degree in a leading Business or Engineering school with a specialization in Finance, Sustainable Finance or ESG
- Previous experience in asset management or consulting is an advantage
Technical skills
- Strong critical analytical skills and ability to concisely synthesize information in written form
- Proven ability to multi-task and produce quality work with attention to detail within tight deadlines
- A hard-working, dynamic and proactive self-starter enjoying entrepreneurial environments that value initiative and autonomy
- True team player
- Fluent English speaker
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (essential), Powerpoint and Word other software skills are an advantage (for example, Tableau, SQL, Python, VBA)
