As an Associate of Vendor management Client Services
The Client Service (CS) organization serves as guardian of the client experience for AM(Asset Management) . The CS team of ~900 employees located in over 20 locations around the globe. It manages the entire lifecycle of the client, from onboarding to day-to-day servicing. These activities include client reporting, RFP(Request for proposal) , onboarding, KYC(Know your customer) and direct relationship management and servicing of Institutional, Funds and Global Liquidity clients. In addition, Client Service is responsible for managing relationships and reporting to the Boards that ultimately run AMs fund complexes. This support includes product administration, board management, funds registration, tax, product implementation and vendor management.
In this role you will support the growth of the Asset Management business and our funds by working with the AM business functions and suppliers to ensure delivery of high quality and cost-effective services which meet our fiduciary obligations. The remit of Vendor Management is to provide subject matter expertise pertaining to the management of suppliers, including the selection, due diligence, regulatory compliance, governance, market intelligence, commercial and contractual arrangements.
Job responsibilities
- Completing the materiality assessments related to the service providers and providing the results in the format required.
- Recording the decision to outsource for each engagement and providing the results in the format required.
- Track and report on the changes in any of the programs frameworks and assess the impact of the change for AM.
- Validate with the Business the information contained within the engagement inventories.
- Recording and storing the exit planning, concentration risk and resiliency related to service providers assessed as being material.
- Represent the business in the Legal Entity steering forums and committees, where required, for all items related to outsourcing.
- Accountable for the periodic reviews of metrics, AM engagement inventories, and where applicable regulatory reports, for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure that Legal Entity risks, impacts or issues, including changes to engagement materiality and degradation of performance is escalated, in accordance with the issue escalation requirements and applicable country specific procedures.
- Engage with the relevant Program Governance Team in any regulatory exam or request, External Audit, Internal Audit, Operational Risk & Compliance Testing interaction in the location when required.
- Assisting with the identification and implementation of regulatory change in this area and working in partnership with the relevant Corporate Program Officers.
- Work closely with control function program leads in the region to leverage synergies and increase awareness.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree, with minimum 7 years of experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English) and an ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in use of desktop tools (MS Excel, Word, Power Point) for analytical and presentation purposes.
- Project Management skillset with a delivery focus, excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Relationship management skills / experience so that they can build good rapport with the business and corporate functions.
