Job Title Associate, Investment Accounting

Job Duties Work with internal and external clients to design and implement new reporting solutions, test deployments of new functionality, analyze and document business workflows and perform data analysis related to accounting. Responsible for creating clear, specific technology and business process requirements documentation, partnering with technology and business team stakeholders to drive consensus. Design and implement functional testing of technology changes. Work with business teams to perform User Acceptance Testing, by ensuring high quality of standard. Likewise, identify areas for improvement in business processes, and perform business data analysis utilizing tools such as SQL, Excel, Power Query, and Python. Three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote per week.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Engineer, or a related role. Three (3) years of experience with utilizing SQL Query to identify, validate, and mine data used in client reports and interfaces utilizing Python to develop customized reports leveraging business analytics to gather business requirements from clients and document clear and concise specifications providing training on new technologies and documenting them clearly driving process improvement and change management and leveraging Software Development Lifecycle to ensure consistent and repeatable delivery of high-quality report and interface solutions.

For New York City only The salary range for this position is $135,782 $140,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
