The BP Solutions Lead role will oversee the day-to-day management of our BP Solutions team, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and data insights to our Business Partners globally, contributing and helping deliver results for our clients through empowering leaders, collaborating across the platform, unlocking talent, and innovating within businesses. The ideal candidate can successfully build and maintain close relationships with global stakeholders and HR Centers of Excellence to solve problems in partnership. The BP Solutions team will facilitate and execute business-specific and firm-wide talent agenda through partnering to project manage, design, and build client-ready materials and reports, providing analytics and insights, and ensuring accurate data in our Workday system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the local team of BP Solutions train, coach, mentor and advise each individually, meeting BlackRock's high expectations of being a People Manager.
  • Assess, diagnose and propose execution to scale work processes across the team and successfully deliver on talent initiatives in partnership with the global HRBP community.
  • Oversee and drive accountability across team in development and delivery of standard reporting and analytics in a client-ready format across our annual talent management cycle and ad-hoc client request is thought of as the central escalation point of contact.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to achieve greater consistency, scale, efficiency, and quality, and proactively provide technology-enabled solutions.
  • Lead efforts to drive efficiency and connectivity in how we get things done with HR Centers of Excellence locally and globally, as well as proactively identifying areas for automation and reduction of risk.

Desired Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience as a people manager with proven track record of successful coaching and enablement.
  • Experience working across cultures and in a matrixed environment (preferred) proven ability to work independently but also to build and sustain high performing partnerships, both locally and globally.
  • Strong analytical and data storytelling skills with keen attention to detail and high standards for accuracy.
  • Highly proficient across Microsoft systems (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and deep understanding of using Workday, specifically, utilization of dashboards and reporting.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to anticipate and hit deadlines related to client deliverables.
  • Keen interest in opportunities to leverage AI in day-to-day work and integrate them into HR processes.
  • Candidates with a positive, can-do attitude, who are curious learners.
  • Sees connections within complex issues utilizes diverse perspectives to broaden the scope of problem-solving.
