Job Duties Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas. Function in a dynamic environment providing Middle Office support for the full transaction closing lifecycle and settlement of Secondary Market, Distressed, and Primary Loan Syndication & Trading Association (LSTA) loan trades. Responsible for daily trade monitoring and verification process between the front office systems and operations systems including the investigation, escalation, and resolution of exceptions. Monitor and review complex legal documents pertaining to the bank loan portfolio. Investigate discrepancies and problems and efficiently resolve sensitive operational issues. Communicate and work effectively with the firm's external business counterparts, such as agent banks, clients and trading partners, and internal stakeholders such as the Trading, Strats, Legal, Tax, Controllers, and Technology to ensure accurate books and records. Work on regulatory reporting as it relates to the bank loans industry.

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, or a related analytical and quantitative field, such as Industrial Engineering. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years with the following maintaining awareness of industry initiatives and market trends in the loan market that can impact business objectives and provide opportunities to improve processes continually re-assessing the operational risks inherent in business, recognizing and acting upon the changing economic and market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures, and the impact of the evolving technology landscape managing risk of exceptions and accurately reflecting trade economic details in loans systems providing operational support to a trading desk, including experience with Loan Syndication & Trading Association (LSTA) best practices and standards, loan lifecycle events processing, and applying knowledge of trade flow from start to finish for exceptions managements and interfacing with trading counterparties, including internal teams, clients and their custodians, and other financial institutions to properly handle escalations and flag high risk issues to management team.
