Job DutiesAssociate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Financial analyst role working closely with merger and acquisition CFOs, as well as acting as liaison between various divisions within the Firm. Assist in budgeting and planning for Business Unit Reviews and any needed ad-hoc requests. Responsible for the collection, maintenance, and analysis of highly confidential business unit/management information for Investment Banking clients related to mergers, sellsides and acquisitions. Review pipeline and projected revenues on client specific activity. Responsible for weekly, quarterly, and yearly financial analysis and reporting, including reconciliation and validation of Merger profit and loss and liaising with Operations during the client invoicing process. Assist in ensuring necessary documentation is kept for purposes of internal controls and external audits as well as any regulatory inquiries.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. One (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role.Prior experience must include one (1) year in the following using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to deliver presentations on a weekly and quarterly basis presenting yearly budget analysis to help management formulate strategic planning for the coming year performing financial reporting and qualitative analysis and visualizing trends for use of the business unit management team and divisional leaders using Tableau to facilitate workload communicating with multiple investment bankers or revenue generators to ensure project pipeline is complete and accurate and managing stakeholders expectations of deliverables.
