Job DutiesAssociate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Perform daily liquidity management function to assess current and future funding requirements. Prepare liquidity recommendations for investor actions and work with stakeholder teams to approve and execute the calling or distributing of capital. Create and implement liquidity models to achieve best in class fund performance and avoid cash drag by optimizing balances. Provide asset backed loans and credit facility recommendations for secondaries within private equity to aid investment performance and investor experience. Monitor and prepare investment pacing and investable capital analysis for a subset of actively investing funds and separately managed accounts. Present recommendations to the deal team and gain approval. Create financial projection models to predict investor cashflows and share with clients to aid their cashflow management. Participate in activities related to portfolio launches, restructuring and rebalances. Act as liquidity management lead for all secondaries private equity deal launches. Perform allocation analysis for new deal activity and present recommendations to the Allocation Working Group (AWG) for approval. Deliver scale and enhanced fund performance through execution of self-identified and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job RequirementsBachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Financial Analysis and Quantitative Risk Management, or a related analytical field. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with utilizing knowledge of quantitative and mathematical systems for gathering and organizing data to develop prototypes and models applying financial principles to simulate various outcomes related to financial markets using Advanced Excel to manage thousands of data inputs to conduct data-driven analysis to create financial models and recommendations leveraging knowledge of the business to advise and assist in ensuring compliance with various laws, rules, and regulations and communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills leveraged to present and obtain approval from Managing Directors and Partners on various projects, financial models, and projections. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with utilizing project management skills to create design requirements, liaise with analytics and technology groups, track progress, deliver milestones, navigate matrixed group of stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of strategic change and deploying end to end workflow knowledge to perform quality control checks to detect and fix any errors impacting fund performance or investor returns and experience.
