Job DutiesAssociate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Structure, analyze and execute securitization transactions on behalf of companies in the telecom (Fiber, Cell Towers), utilities, real estate, solar, financial services, education, and consumer retail sectors. Review proprietary securitization models including Whole Business, Rate Reduction Bonds, IP Royalties, Credit Tenant Leases. No prior knowledge or experience with firm proprietary tools or technologies required pre-hire. Assist with Discounted Cash Flow, Leveraged Buyout, Merger Consequences, Comparable Companies, Precedent Transactions analysis and help senior team evaluate models to develop key judgments. Create indicative whole loan purchase term sheets including eligibility criteria, concentration limits, covenants, and termination events. Review Indentures, Offering Memoranda, Note Purchase Agreements, and other operative transaction documents. Manage dialogue when liaising with senior bankers and product experts throughout the firm. Coordinate junior professionals' work product including reviewing financial modeling work and presentations prepared for transactions, corporate board meetings, investment banking pitches and client service projects on corporate finance topics and review memoranda required to gain internal approvals from typical investment banking committees. Present to CEO and CFO level corporate clients on topics such as securitization, other capital markets activities and capital structure issues at board meetings and pitches and on conference calls. Responsible for financing live deal execution, including running due diligence processes, negotiating non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents with lawyers and financiers, organizing, and attending deal and non-deal roadshows and liaising other investment banks and third parties (Rating Agencies).

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related investment banking position. Prior experience must include two (2) years with each of the following performing Credit Analysis, including analyzing a company's financial position, evaluating historical cashflow, assessing the maturity profile of total borrowings and the ability to refinance in the future building and reviewing financial models, including operating models, M&A models, and LBO valuations and securitization models analyzing legal documents including offering memoranda, securitization indentures and private placement memoranda to support financial transactions preparing presentations to review deals, including esoteric asset classes, with senior bankers, investment committees and rating agencies liaising with rating agencies and capital market specialists in connection with the structuring, pricing and distribution of structured notes and asset-backed loans facilitating and managing communication flow between various stakeholders during loan closing and securitization process, including lender and borrower counsel, third party diligence providers, accountants, rating agencies, and investors developing cashflow models for asset-backed securitizations, analyzing the mechanics of cash flow waterfalls and calculating the risk and return on transactions creating presentations making recommendations to clients regarding securitization viability and execution, based on modeling outputs, business strategy, rating agency feedback and market conditions fixed income products including principal and interest payments, discount and premium bond, duration, call options, weighted average life, credit spreads, interpolated treasury curve, yield maintenance, CPR, CDR, severity, and recovery rate and utilizing Collateral Analysis System tool, Intex, DealVector, Microsoft Excel, and Bloomberg to create cash flow and operating models and analyze loan and asset-level data. FINRA Series 79, 63 and SIE required. Travel required approximately 10% of the time internationally and domestically to attend client meetings. All travel costs are covered by the Firm.

Salary Range The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $173,555 - $225,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
