This platform helps realize a client's goals and objectives, develops and implements an integrated wealth management plan and delivers first-class client service. PWM Digital team of engineers develops integrated, web & mobile based solutions and strategic middleware services that provide PWM Sales Teams and Clients with detailed information on their financial portfolio & analytics, social collaboration platform, capability to trade online across various asset classes and access to GS services and insights. Our team of engineers builds solutions to the most complex problems and have the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology innovation alongside industry leaders and make significant contributions to the field.

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong knowledge and experience in developing highly scalable and resilient platforms that can deliver world class client experience.

We expect that you maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

This role offers the opportunity to work in a competitive & nimble team of engineers building and supporting the banking and the asset transfers or the money movement platform on the firms multiple award-winning public website, Goldman.com and the wealth mobile app.

Candidates will work directly with a variety of stakeholders, including the products organization/team, UX & visual design team and various engineering teams across the division to build and enhance the state of the art, industry leading & best in class digital banking platform, providing the PWM clients the capability to interact with bank to keep track of their portfolio and several other functionalities across the world securely through the most intuitive UX.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Strong knowledge and 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, REST based web services and building Service Oriented Architectures.

Proficiency in designing, developing and testing cross-platform software willingness to learn and adopt new languages as necessary

Experience developing, deploying and supporting software across the full Continuous Delivery life-cycle.

Solid experience of version control, continuous integration, deployment and configuration management tools

The ability to understand and effectively debug both new and existing software

The ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, as well as the interpersonal skills required to collaborate effectively with colleagues across diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications

Should have 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing REST based enterprise level web services in Java

Should have complete understanding of version control strategies like GIT, SVN etc., continuous integration like Jenkins etc, deployment and configuration management tools.

Should have experience in Test Driven Development with a strong focus on Contracts first implementation approach.

Should have experience in debugging and fixing application issues including application performance improvements.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

A strong desire to produce high quality software through cross functional collaboration, testing, code reviews, and other best practices.
