JOB SUMMARY
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted function that partners with all parts of the firm to provide financial counseling services to clients. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firms assets and its reputation. Insurance Services serves Ayco clients, Account Manager teams and as a point of contract for all in force life insurance and annuity contracts. They are required to work across multiple products while adhering to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, quality, client service, information security, and compliance.
RESPONSBILITIES
- Review and process pending client requests to ensure proper authorizations and supporting documentation are in place and meet policy requirements.
- Proactively monitor clients policies by developing policy reviews, ensure premiums are paid, etc.
- Scheduling client calls to review their in force policies and answer questions.
- Coordinate and process team specific tasks as requested by the business.
- Perform quality reviews of other team members completed work and ensure data accuracy.
- Work across multiple systems and platforms.
- Interface with teams and businesses to resolve on-going issues and answer specific policy questions.
- Provide support and work on special projects as requested.
- Apply business judgment to identify unusual or suspicious activities and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Associate must understand and adhere to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, quality, client service, information security, and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required
- Working knowledge of certain Microsoft products including Word, Windows, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Active life and health insurance license preferred
- Series 6 or 7 registration preferred
- Series 63 or 66 registration preferred
- Sound judgment and outstanding attention to detail
- Proven analytical skills and problem solving ability
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
- Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Self-motivated
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
