is a dedicated and experienced team that is responsible for managing multi- asset class discretionary mandates. PMG is seeking an Analyst who can provide portfolio/relationship management support to Advisor teams by focusing on client service, serving as a key liaison to areas supporting the PMG business including Legal, Compliance, and Technology and assisting in managing the investment process. The individual will be a main point of contact for teams with respect to supporting new business solicitations and managing general on-going client portfolio needs. Portfolio management responsibilities will include rebalancing and trading support, creation/management of marketing materials, on-going / ad hoc reporting and investment analysis requests, and other client support functions.
The Portfolio Management Group (PMG)
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Work closely with the Portfolio Managers and Advisors to support and implement multi-asset class strategies for clients
- Daily supervision of complex client portfolios involving areas such as portfolio implementation issues, asset movements, asset allocation, and investment manager/vehicleselection
- Assist on projects related to new business development, including creation and maintenance of marketingmaterials
- Portfolio monitoring and rebalancing to predefined risk and constructionparameters
- Keep abreast of the latest events in financialmarkets
- Work in conjunction with various product groups within the Asset and Wealth Management Division to respond to clientneeds
- Serve as a key liaison to other areas supporting the PMG business including Legal, Compliance, andTechnology
WHERE WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
The GS Ayco Portfolio Management Group business covers clients located throughout the United States.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum bachelor's degree (U.S. orequivalent)
- Related financial services experience of 0 - 3years
- Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of financialmarkets
- Excellent communication skills, both oral andwritten
- Must be comfortable presenting to audiences of varying sizes andsophistication
- Detail orientation, patience, and demonstrated ability to multi-task underpressure.
- Strong interpersonal/leadership skills and a passion to engage with advisors andclients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly underpressure
- Strong interest in the financial markets and good investment sense/commercialinstinct
- Collaborative andteam-oriented
- Highly proficient in Windows Technology (Outlook, Word,Excel)
- Ability to foster a strong network of relationships with numerous colleagues and desks across theFirm
- Series 7 and 63 required obtaining CFA Charter highly encouraged and will be sponsored in accordance with firm policy
