JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Define and deliver projects to meet strategic priorities framing decisions around business drivers, scope, time, cost and quality
  • Partner extensively with Product, Technology, Business Development, Risk Management, Finance and other functional groups on key projects, from ideation to implementation
  • Work with SMEs, Product Manager and other stakeholders to define project success criteria and metrics to exhibit progress against those success criteria
  • Take complete ownership of projects and initiatives, carefully managing business case, scope, schedule, risks, issues, decisions, interdependencies and interim milestones
  • Ability to distill complex information into digestible content for stakeholders at all levels
  • Uncomfortable with ambiguity - seeks out ambiguity and turns fuzzy requirements or updates into clear communications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management
  • Experience with the delivery of a new product or significant product change
  • Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical implementation/execution
  • Strong sense of detail and urgency, with the ability to motivate others to deliver
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Ability to develop excellent relationships at all levels within an organization
  • Experience with Smartsheets, JIRA, Confluence, or Sharepoint

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Strong plus - prior experience building and testing software
  • Strong plus experience developing products using customer and design-centric practices
  • Strong plus direct experience leading delivery based on agile based frameworks (Scrum, LeSS, XP, SAFe)
  • Ability to interact and influence at all levels and across functions within an organization
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience in Asset & Wealth Management domain
