As an Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and support of CIB Securities Services Custody suites of in-house as well as vendor managed applications. You will be part of team working in Rotation Shifts to cover 7 AM to 830 PM IST, performing L1 & L2 functions - monitoring, incident management, change management, capacity management, resiliency management, service request management, process improvement.

Key Responsibilities and Typical Duties include the followingTo manage and resolve day-to-day production issues, queries for a number of applications. To perform Incident and Change management To update key control systems according to procedure and in a timely manner To create and update Run Book/Documentation for the supported applications as required To participate in Critical Resiliency Tests for supported applications To participate in post incident reviews for client impacting incidents

QualificationsExperience - Required Experience in supporting AWS and distributed applications. Greatly valued if AWS Certified. Hands on with AWS support, Unix Commands, Shell scripting and SQL

Proficient in writing SQL queries and understanding Oracle\SQL DB concepts indexing and execution plan Hands on experience in writing automation utilities using shell scripting/python or any other tool Knowledge of scheduling tools Autosys/Control-M

Experience - Desirable Exposure to monitoring (SLA/Flow/Milestone) & Visualization tools like Geneos, Grafana, Splunk, Kibana, AWS Cloudwatch etc. Exposure to application performance monitoring tools (AppDynamics/Dynatrace) Exposure to ServiceNow tool/Environment. Exposure to deploy, monitor and support cloud based applications

Additional Information The mission-critical nature of these globally-used applications means that on occasion it will be necessary for the successful candidate to work extended hours at short notice to help see an incident through to resolution. To enable an effective response to off-hours incidents a call-out rotation is maintained across the wider team.
