Job SummaryJob Description
- Process the settlements of US Fixed Income Securities and handle all trade exceptions on a timely basis
- Reconcile cash and position breaks related to settlements

- Work constructively with teams across multiple business entities in a fast paced
- Aid in managing volumes and organizing workflow
- Remain up to date on a number of desks so as to be able to back fill throughout the year
- Posses good knowledge of the products and systems required to accomplish daily responsibilities (BDC, Nexen, APEX, ICI IMPACT, RIMMS)
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, standards and guidelines instructions and ensures processes and controls are in place to minimize operations risk
- On an ongoing basis will assist Manager, US Securities Settlements with any ad hoc requirements / tasks
Must-have
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and to solve problems using knowledge and experience
- Strong MS Office skills Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have
- Good working knowledge of internal trading, account and settlement systems including BDC, APEX, ICI Impact, RIMMS
- CSC - Canadian Securities Course
