Description
Creates detailed business requirements for functional (e.g., business processes, rules) and non-functional (e.g., data, security) capabilities.
Validates test cases to ensure that scripts will evaluate the business function being performed.
Gathers and interprets information from multiple sources (including databases, interviews, etc.) and makes recommendations.
Provides support for application development teams including documenting business processes.
Translates technical concepts to business audience and business information to a technical audience.
Participates in developing estimates and implementation plans for technical solutions.
Partners with team members to develop project schedules, reports and documentation. May be required to act as project lead on small to medium projects.
Works with User Experience / Design resources to help visualize requirements into prototype.
Understands and applies principles in risk management, issue tracking and change management.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems, Business, or related.
Three (3) years in any occupation with Business Analysis or related experience must include (Employer will accept skills gained during University education)
Experience writing Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, and detailing System Requirement Specifications
Experience of the software development life cycle using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Risk management, issue tracking, change management and requirements gathering
Experience with Oracle or MS SQL databases
Experience writing complex SQL queries, performing project management tasks, coordinating work streams, and performing initial unit/regression testing
Coding in Java and/or Angular
HTML5, CSS Web Technologies
Writing test cases for User Acceptance Testing
Writing user documentation or manuals
Data Mapping Data Mining
Experience with UML and DFD
Experience with TFS or JIRA
System Analysis and Design
Experience building Business Intelligence dashboards such as Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE
Reports to company headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL. Can work remotely or telecommute up to 100%.
SALARY
$103,358 per year
