Position Overview
- Assist with daily portfolio management activities such as allocations, liquidity management, and balancing asset liability metrics serve as link between the portfolio management team, trading desks, liquidity management group, and operations for daily and monthly reporting, compliance and performance purposes
- Understand various client account needs to support portfolio allocation and construction activities, including investment guidelines limitations, cash and liquidity considerations, and risk tolerance
- Evaluate portfolio positioning and determine appropriate asset mix to rebalance portfolios
- Interact with Portfolio Managers on optimization of the asset portfolio in prevailing market conditions
- Prepare investment-related reports and presentations for senior investment professionals, senior management, board of directors, ratings agencies
- Participate in team and departmental projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or other
technical/quantitative
or equivalent experience
2+ years of relevant work experience in fixed income, treasury, or insurance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to take initiative on tasks and responsibilities Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint VBA, SQL, Python and programming skills are a differentiator
