Global Provider Strategy team is responsible for using BlackRock's scale, industry knowledge, and risk management capabilities to build and expand partnerships with leading financial institutions, achieving the delivery of high-quality service to BlackRock on behalf of our firm's clients at a cost effective and risk aware price point. provider strategy

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Analyst in the Provider Risk & Performance team within Global Provider Strategy. We are dedicated to developing and implementing risk management strategies for key service providers, adapting our risk governance program to align with global regulatory changes and the diverse needs of stakeholders within BlackRock. The ideal candidate will engage in strategic projects alongside our internal operational partners to enhance our risk management frameworks, generate insightful reports and analyses, and promote service excellence among providers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely completion of all responsibilities managed by GPS India, including governance program delivery across Tech & Ops, data analytics, reporting, risk management information compilation, and market/provider intelligence gathering.
  • Conduct reporting tasks such as metrics reporting, data updates, drafting reports, and dashboard management.
  • Diligently maintain and support platforms for new and ongoing risk management and sourcing activities.
  • Lead and prioritize initiatives to redesign processes, aiming to increase efficiency and expand our programs within the technology and operations landscape.
  • Regularly assess systems, processes, and procedures for inefficiencies and propose enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the GPS team on various ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key BlackRock groups and leaders to ensure a comprehensive understanding and adoption of governance programs.

Key competencies required for success in this role include

  • BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related quantitative field.
  • Ability to identify, approach situations logically and craft creative solutions from a risk perspective.
  • Analytical ability to synthesize information and summarize issues. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize the most critical business issues.
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills. Intellectual ability and interpersonal skills to establish credibility with senior managers and their teams.
  • Results driven, with a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Inventive, dedicated teammate, able to work with people of all levels.
  • Ability to organize and handle several tasks in a professional, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong cross team relationship-building skills, capable of telling a story to build consensus and adapting style of communication to audiences of different technical knowledge and backgrounds.
