Business Unit Overview
The Global Accounting and Product Services (GAAPS) division provides operational support to BlackRock Funds' portfolio management teams and clients. Together with Financial Statements Review, Regulatory Filings and Audit and Support organizations, the BlackRock Fund Administration teams have the responsibilities for all NAV and fund accounting matters and, financial & regulatory reporting (BlackRock Funds), We are central to BlackRock's operations in providing subject matter expertise, supervising fund administrator service delivery in relation fund accounting, financial reporting and regulatory filings, responsible for operational capacity for new products, giving to projects in relation to product launches and collaborating closely with fund administrators, auditors, fund directors and portfolio managers. The group comprises of multiple teams and is organized both functionally and regionally
Job Purpose/Background
Regulatory, Financial, and Disclosure Operations within Global Financial Reporting and act as a centralized coordinator of the annual update process (prospectus and SAI updates), prospectus supplements and provides oversight that requires accountability, communication, and coordination amongst internal and external participants.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform risk and quality review procedures of externally prepared US regulatory reports
- Oversee the internal production of certain US and EMEA regulatory reports and filings
- Collaborates internally to track applicable regulatory developments and reporting requirements
- Management and coordination of annual and supplemental updates to the prospectuses and Statements of Additional Information (SAI) regulatory forms for all open-end mutual funds & post documents on the BlackRock website
- Complete filings on time
- Review of invoices related to all filings and print/typeset submitted by vendors through invoice portal.
Skills/Qualifications
- A college degree is required, preferably in accounting (1 4 years).
- The role would suit a qualified accountant with audit experience in investment management or financial services audit or, alternatively, experience within a financial reporting & regulatory reporting or filing environment at a fund administrator (preferred , not mandatory)
- Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- An understanding of the current requirements of the global accounting standards and regulatory requirements, as they apply to Investment Funds.
- Display a focused interest in keeping informed of industry developments, and investment product changes.
