Role Summary

The role of the Analyst is to provide high level technical and subject matter expertise for certain data/statistics that result in accurate production and dissemination of performance information. As part of this role the Analyst leads and implements initiatives and projects focused on quality, efficiency, and business partner satisfaction ensuring consistency across all teams globally. The Analyst acts as a mentor and coach for peers within the MDI team, globally. This role builds strong relationships with teams and associates across the firm that MDI relies on for data/statistical support. The Analyst has a comprehensive understanding of external data distribution rules and regulations according to TRP and industry compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and reports on client portfolio performance. Continues to develop an understanding of online tools and reporting platform. Answers standard and moderately complex inquiries from clients regarding client reporting operations. Reviews data leveraged to support business initiatives.
  • Provides analysis and development of reports related to all aspects of account activities, performance, and investment-related practices and procedures.
  • Serves as an escalation point for client inquiries. Continues to develop knowledge on various product and investment offerings in order to address client inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintains the reporting system utilized by clients to generate reports on their portfolios and portfolio performance. Trains clients on reporting system.
  • Interprets and suggests programs or improvements to services delivered in order to improve client service and operational experience
  • Continues to develop expertise in investment data and compliance requirements

Qualifications

Typical

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 2+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred

  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement process improvements
  • Experience leading projects/initiates from creation through implementation, globally
  • Demonstrated specialized industry expertise in performance measurement and/or data management
  • Applies consultative approach when interacting with customers and peers position requires interaction with associates at all levels
  • Ability to coach and influence peers without direct Supervisory oversight
  • Passion for Investment Data. Completion of or progress towards a CFA, CAIA, CIPM, or comparable designation.
  • Intellectually curious and enjoys solving problems
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
