Who we are looking for
Client facing opportunity for energetic individuals with a strong balance of technical and interpersonal skills. The position will support portfolio control and related service inquiries for key middle office clients. The individual will interface daily with the client's management and act as a subject matter expert and escalation point on our contracted services. Position has daily client service levels and must ensure the team meets internal deadlines in order to meet client
expectations.

What you will be responsible for
- Oversee daily communications with clients with a view into operational risk management
- Handle client deliverable reporting and associated discussions which includes portfolio monitoring, key service metrics, issues lists and initiative updates
- Coordinate accounting books open and close functionality
- Understanding end to end service model for respective assigned client and operating as an SME for key client inquiries
- Ensure documentation protocols are followed regarding all contractual matters
- Conduct high-level analysis in specific areas of expertise, identify and resolve work-processing issues, make suggestions to streamline operations and implement.
- Research complex issues and inquiries. Resolve discrepancies and take action on complex and escalated matters from external clients and internal departments
- Engage in complex special projects and assignments including new client onboardings
- Collaborate with STT's middle and back office operations and provide input on plans to enhance operations including market initiatives and changes.
- Participate in internal recurring sessions to review operational delivery of our key services and understand risks impacting our services.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics
- or
- 3 plus years related industry experience including operational experience
- Working knowledge of Domestic and International financials and all related instruments
- Detailed understanding of operations
- Strong leadership and attention to detail
- Ability to develop business relationships within and outside the organization
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problems solving skills
- Ability to multi-task, balance workload and work in a deadline oriented position
- Ability to meet aggressive SLA Deadlines
- Computer proficient including spreadsheet and database applications
Additional requirements
- Strong experience within asset management operations is preferred
- Intermediate experience with presentations and data analysis is a plus mainly using PowerPoint and Excel
- Limited travel may be required
- SQL / Data Mining skills are a plus
