Team

The Aladdin Client Transformations team is the tip of the spear of the Aladdin Business and is responsible for implementing Aladdin solutions at institutional clients across the financial industry. Within the Front Office Practice, we lead the engagement with Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers and Senior Leadership at our clients to ensure that Aladdin investment solutions meet their needs. Our success is defined by their successful adoption of Aladdin.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage Aladdin to transform our clients business workflows and reporting across portfolio construction, order management, risk reporting, ESG and performance measurement & attribution
  • Collaborate closely with client leadership (e.g., Chief Investment Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Head Portfolio Managers, Chief Sustainability Officer) to understand client objectives and goals while delivering strong representation on behalf of the Aladdin Business
  • Lead and document the redesign of investment and reporting workflows across various asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and derivatives, with a focus on operational scale and efficiency
  • Work closely with the client and Aladdin Product Managers to support the product development needs of our clients
  • Improve the efficiency and repeatability of our execution methodology with each new implementation
  • Develop deep relationships within BlackRock Solutions and BlackRock to ensure the best client experience
  • Mentor junior members of the team
  • Expected to travel periodically, including international opportunities

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of investment management and risk, as a provider or practitioner with 4-10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong familiarity with capital markets instruments and the investment lifecycle across public and private asset classes
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts concisely and clearly to clients
  • Excellent analytical ability & critical thinking capabilities to help understand complex workflows and client business models
  • Ability to using digital literacy to build efficiencies and enhance workflows and deliver high quality solutions
  • Great interpersonal skills with proven track record of building relationships with internal and external senior management
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage several contending priorities while retaining an acute attention to detail
  • Enjoys a fast paced, high-intensity and complex environment, troubleshooting time-critical issues and working with other people
  • Experience implementing scalable and repeatable business processes

Nice to have

  • MBA, CFA, FRM, SCR, or Certificate in ESG preferred
  • SQL, Python, VBA experience a plus
  • Project management experience (e.g., PMP) a plus
