Recruitment Coordinator Wealth Management Europe

What is the opportunity?

The Recruitment Coordinator (RC) will support the Wealth Management Europe (WME) team in their management of administrative tasks pertaining to the recruitment process for RBC Europe.

The RCs responsibilities will involve reporting and administration, including liaising with the business line managers / hiring managers and candidates to schedule interviews, taking responsibility for day-to-day support and advice and working alongside dedicated Senior Recruiters aligned to WME as well as the Head of Recruitment Europe and APAC.

The RC will assist in ensuring WorkDay systems are up to date with real time information and data.

By partnering with the Senior Recruiters, the RC will facilitate the recruitment tracking, reporting, interview booking, and employment offer process. The RC will develop a solid understanding of all businesses and build strong relationships with managers, HR partners and other internal groups, as appropriate.

What will you do?

  • Manage the creation of new requisitions and tracking of vacancies, publishing high quality adverts internally and externally with wording that is in-keeping with employment legislation.
  • Maintain data integrity on recruitment stats and Recruitment Management Systems (RMS such as WorkDay). Reporting on recruitment data.
  • Assist the Senior Recruiters and hiring managers with booking of interviews, meeting rooms and keeping an interview schedule list in real time.
  • Report into the Head of Recruitment with general administrative tasks, as required pertaining to WME.
  • Assume responsibility for the completion of monthly, quarterly and end of year reporting for WME.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with HR Business Partners, Senior Recruiters and Hiring Managers to provide assistance with recruiting needs within WME.
  • Manage internal employee referral programmes, StarFinder, and following up to ensure referee bounty fees are processed and paid via Payroll team.
  • Respond to direct candidates who may have not submitted applications through WorkDay.
  • Process payments and track all invoices from third party suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Initiate and participate in projects and initiatives to improve Recruitment practices and procedures relating to WME.
  • Act as bridge between hiring manager, new hire and On Boarding, fielding requests and queries so they are handed off appropriately.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Some experience within the recruitment field, either within an in-house HR environment, or in a recruitment agency.
  • A clear understanding of the recruitment process within a financial institution.
  • Some expertise at interview and assessment of candidates.
  • Ability to provide detailed and accurate information to third parties.
  • Good background experience and knowledge of WorkDay or similar systems.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Reporting capability from running reports off WorkDay, creating Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint slides.
  • Can demonstrate experience working effectively in a team and support team members accordingly.
  • Training on the recruitment process and WorkDay system will be provided.
